Kosher Meat in Brisbane


Kosher meat is available in very minimal quantities at two outlets in Brisbane.
1. Ritchies Supa-IGA, Westfield, Creek Road, Carindale.
2. Swiss Gourmet Deli, 181 Boundary Street, West End.

Kosher meat may be ordered in bulk quarterly through ‘Eilat at Hadassa’ Kosher Butcher in Sydney. The meat arrives ready frozen.

The upcoming order dates are:

  • 7 January 2011
  • 21 March 2011 (Pesach order)
  • 6 June 2011
  • 5 September 2011 (Rosh Hashanah order)

The meat is delivered to Brisbane (on the Monday) two weeks after the order dates. All meat must be collected from Chabad House, 8 Meadowbank Street, Carindale, between 5:00-6:00 pm on the day of delivery.

Once orders are sent please call to confirm they received your order. For more details call 02 9365 4904 and ask for Benny or Michael.

In order to continue this service in a proficient manner (and to get the Butcher to keep the prices down) we must ensure that orders are sent in a timely fashion. Unfortunately in recent months, some orders have been coming in a few days late and sometimes even a week after the deadline. PLEASE ENSURE TO SUMBIT YOUR ORDER BY (no later than) 4pm on the order dates above.
